Pop Opera Fridays is pleased to present two of Western Canada’s best DJs – Calgary’s DJ Pump and Vancity’s own Hedspin. Members of Team Canada’s mighty EH! TEAM DJ Supercrew, both possess that lethal combination of technical flair and party rockin’ mastery, and together they are a force unstoppable behind the decks. The EH! TEAM DJ’s

The EH! Team DJs consist of Canada’s #1 DJ crew and producers. The squad was formed back in July of 2007 and shaped to represent Canada’s finest from coast to coast. The players include: Team Canada’s DJ Grandtheft and D.R.one of Montreal, Illo of Ottawa, Jr-Flo of Toronto, Pump of Calgary, and Hedspin of Vancouver.
With this powerhouse of DJs, The Eh! Team not only tour from coast to coast in Canada, but also cover the USA and the world.
The Eh! Team DJs have been blowing up across Canada and have established residencies in cities from coast to coast, and are featured on the Truth Mix Show on Toronto’s The New FLOW 93.5 (CFXJFM fm radio) Canada’s first urban music station.

DJ PUMP

Pump has ignited a city and a country! DJ Pump is most comfortable when he’s rocking the crowd with his unique blends and using his unbounded DJing skills and talents. His relevance, influence and impact on the local scene are unparalleled. Pump is one of the few Calgary bred DJs to receive global recognition from many of the worlds most elite hip-hop DJs and turntablists. To this day he is the only Calgarian to represent Canada in the DMC World Championships. Pumps accomplishments include: 2001 Allies All-Star Beatdown Finalist, 2001 Vestax Canadian 2nd Runner up, 2001 DMC Canadian 1st Runner Up, 2000 ITF Canadian Champion, 2000 DMC Canadian Champion, and 1997-2000 Calgary DMC Champion. With his endless knowledge of music, his remix skills and mixes have been also getting mad love and reviews.

Hedspin comes from the school of being a complete DJ - A party rocker blessed with the talent of a turntablist, who's down with the classics but up on the hot new shit. Hedspin's proven his party rocking skills by winning the Vancouver Red Bull 3 Style Championship in 2008 and his versatility has served as a passport to travel around the globe wowing crowds in Montreal, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Halifax, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, Whistler, Banff, Japan, Philippines and London . . .
